Board of Directors

Volunteers elected by the membership. They meet monthly, in public, and the minutes are posted afterwards.

Sample Member Two

Vice President

Runs a small print shop downtown and chairs the outreach committee.

Sample Member Three

Treasurer

Retired bookkeeper; reconciles the underwriting ledger every quarter.

Sample Member Four

Secretary

Takes the minutes and keeps the archive of programme guides.

Sample Member Five

Director at Large

Teaches the intro camera class and produces a monthly TV segment.

Sample Member Six

Came up through the youth programme and now sits on the training committee.

Sample Member Seven

Director at Large

Represents the station in conversations with the city about the franchise fee.

Meetings

Board meetings are the third Tuesday of the month in the studio's front room, and anyone may attend. Agendas go up a week ahead; if you want something on one, write to the front desk on the contact page.

Seats open every spring

Three of the seven seats come up for election each year. Members in good standing can nominate themselves — no governance experience expected, just an interest in how the place is run.
