About

Petaluma Community Media is the town's shared studio — radio, TV, podcasts, and the training that gets people behind the gear.

What we are

[Placeholder copy] Petaluma Community Media is a nonprofit community media center. We run a radio station, a community television channel, and a public production studio, and we lend all three to whoever in town wants to make something.

Everything on our air is made by people who live here. There is no audition and no prior experience required — take a class, book the room, and you are on.

Open to everyone

Membership

Any Petaluma resident can become a member, train on the equipment, and produce a show.

Made in town

Programming

Local music, local government, local stories — programmed by volunteers, not by a network feed.

Community funded

Support

Member dues, underwriting from local businesses, and a franchise fee from the city keep the lights on.

Where to go next

The rest of this department covers the history, how to reach us, who sits on the board, and everything else.

Come see the place

Open house every first Saturday. Walk through the control room, put on a pair of headphones, and find out how little it takes to get started.
